{"id":26172,"date":"2020-06-30T22:30:05","date_gmt":"2020-06-30T22:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rmolaw.com.au\/queensland-border-opening-10-july-2020\/"},"modified":"2025-02-24T05:14:42","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T05:14:42","slug":"queensland-border-opening-10-july-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rmolaw.com.au\/zh\/queensland-border-opening-10-july-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Queensland Border: Opening 10 July 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Great news for Queenslanders.<\/p>\n<p>Queensland borders will reopen on 10 July 2020 to all states and territories, EXCLUDING Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to cross the border you will be required to sign a border declaration form stating you have not travelled to Victoria.<\/p>\n<p>Are you, or someone you know, currently in Victoria?<\/p>\n<p>Chief Health Officer, Dr Jeannette Young has advised if you wish to return to Queensland to do so as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Any Queenslander returning from Victoria, FROM MIDDAY THIS FRIDAY, will be required to enter mandatory hotel quarantine or be banned from entering.<\/p>\n<p>If you are required to hotel quarantine, this will be at your own expense.<\/p>\n<h3>What Can You Do From This Friday?<\/h3>\n<p>This Friday (3 July 2020) at 12 noon the Queensland Government will ease COVID-19 restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>Changes for families, friends and the community include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Non-commercial and private gatherings with up to 100 people<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Weddings and funerals with up to 100 people<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Museums, art galleries, libraries and historic sites now allows maximum number of persons by the 1 person per 4 square metre rule<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Sport, recreation and fitness organisations must follow a COVID Safe Industry Plan:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Competition and physical contact now permitted on the field of play<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Indoor sports can open with 1 person per 4 square metres (off the field of play)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Outdoor sports can open with physical distancing (off the field of play)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Changes for businesses and the economy include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Customers within business now determined by 4 square metre rule<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Smaller venues below 200 square metres can now have 1 person per 2 square metres (up to 50 persons at a time)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Business listed below may reopen with a COVID Safe Plan in place:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Casinos<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Gaming and gambling venues<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Non-therapeutic massage<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Saunas and bathhouses<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Nightclubs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Food courts<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Office-based workers may return to their place of work<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Queensland\u2019s major sports facilities (that have a COVID Safe Plan in place) can have up to 25,000 spectators or 50% of capacity (whichever is lesser)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Convert venues, theatres and auditoriums can open and have up to 50% capacity or 1 person per 4 square metres (whichever is greater), as long as there is a COVID Safe Plan in place<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Events are back on with the following rules in place:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Fewer than 500 people \u2013 no approval required if following COVID Safe Event Checklist<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">500 to 10,000 people \u2013 COVID Safe Event Plan required and must be approved by local public health units<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 115%;\">Over 10,000 people \u2013 COVID Safe Event Plan required and must be approved by Queensland Chief Health Officer<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You are still required to comply with 1.5 metre social distancing.<\/p>\n<h3>How We Can Help<\/h3>\n<p>Our team of lawyers are experts in their field and go above-and-beyond to deliver the best result, each and every time.<\/p>\n<p>We are proud to provide 5 star customer service to our clients.<\/p>\n<p>As one of our clients said &#8220;<em>Invest in the best &#8211; Q&amp;S<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<h3>\u8054\u7cfb\u6211\u4eec<\/h3>\n<p>Need to get moving on your legal issue?
