Her husband was charged with her murder. Her will left her entire estate to her husband. The law prevents a murderer from receiving any benefit under a person\u2019s will, but that depends on the person being first convicted of the murder; and it takes a long time for a murder trial to happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr and Mrs Piper owned (in both their names) a mobile home in a retirement village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr Piper conspired with the manager of the retirement village to have the mobile home sold, before Mr Piper\u2019s murder trial, and to pay 100% of the proceeds of sale to Mr Piper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RMO Law acted on a deferred-fee basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Result:\u00a0<\/strong>A win for our clients.
