Driving Whilst Unlicenced: “Sir/Ma’am, Licence & Registration Please”
There are many reasons your licence may become suspended.
For example, the accumulation of too many demerit points, drink driving or drug driving.
In recent weeks, there have been a number of incidents involving persons driving whilst unlicenced.
In 1 case, a driver who was driving whilst unlicenced, and also 5 times over the alcohol limit, ran a red light and ended up airborne at Boronia Heights.
The vehicle then continued on to crash into a fuel bowser.
Luckily no-one suffered major injuries.
In another case, a man was travelling at over 100km/h in Woodridge and crashed into 3 vehicles that were outside a primary school – at the school’s pickup time of 3pm.
It was a miracle there were no serious injuries to any children, parents and the driver of the vehicle.
Needless to say, the driver was charged with multiple offences, including driving whilst unlicenced.
