Our Adopted Koala Anwen’s Release Back Into The Wild

Over 5 months ago devastating bushfires took hold of Australia.

Countless animals were injured and in need of adoption so Quinn & Scattini came to the rescue of 5 koalas.

This included Anwen, one of the first koalas to be rescued and treated at the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital.

Anwen was our Cleveland office’s adopted koala.

Pictures of her had gone around the world. She was quite severely burnt,” said the hospital’s clinical director Cheyne Flanagan.

Her burns have healed, she’s good claw-return, so it’s all about letting them be koalas again.”

We are delighted to report Anwen has now been released to the wild, after a long recovery.
