Wills & Estate Planning - Wills & Estates

The Situation: Mr and Mrs Watkins asked RMO Law to prepare their wills. They wanted to make a gift in their wills to a particular charity. RMO Law spoke to the CEO of the charity and discovered that the organisation had lost its deductible gift recipient (“DGR”) charitable status with the tax office and that its previous CEO was under investigation.

The Result: Better estate planning. Due to RMO Law’s investigations, Mr and Mrs Watkins selected a different charity to benefit in their wills.
